BFN
February 2011-
BFN
March 2011-
BFN
April 2011-
BFN-decided to seek out an RE since BBT and OPK's indicate I am ovulating but still not getting pregnant. A has an SA which comes back normal. I completed lots of bloodwork all of which comes back normal. This is good but not explaining why we aren't getting pregnant.
May 2011-
BFN-Meet with RE -get plan of action but still no diagnosis; told we just aren't "getting lucky" but will try some medications
June 2011-
Clomid + trigger shot + TI=BFN
July 2011-
switch to Femara + trigger shot + TI= BFN

*Please note I was monitored throughout all of these medications with weekly ultrasounds; this is very important to prevent multiples; if your doctor puts you on Clomid and does not monitor your follicle (egg) growth please locate a new physician!!! I responded to all of these drugs with one or two mature follicles but still did not get pregnant. However, you could have a completely different response with more than two follicles, get pregnant and then have to have "the talk" with your physician regarding selective reduction. Selective reduction was not an option for A and I so monitoring was very important to us!

August 2011-
forced break to have HSG (checks to make sure my tubes are not blocked) completed-normal!! Tried on own=BFN
September 2011-
femara + injectibles (Repronex) + trigger shot +TI=BFN
October 2011-
injectibles only (Repronex)-cycle canceled due to overstimulation and risk of multiples (i.e. more than triplets YIKES!); A has another SA completed which comes back exceptional!!!
November 2011-
decide to switch RE's due to poor staff at current facility; try on own=BFN
December 2011-
meet with second RE in another city-gives us the option to try IUI and/or IVF and a new sense of hope; tried on own=BFN; officially diagnosed with "unexplained infertility"
